During my PhD candidature, I was awarded approximately AUD$55,420 in grants and top-up scholarships, in addition to my Research Training Program, including:
- Australian Endeavour Research Fellowship $24,500 – visiting scholar at the IUCN office at the Cambridge Conservation Initiative and Imperial College London
- Society of Conservation Biology Oceania Best Student Paper Award $350
- Centre for Integrative Ecology Higher Degree Research funding $5,500
- Society of Conservation Biology travel grant for International Congress for Conservation Biology US$300
- Top-up scholarship from Deakin University $15,000
